A Passion For The Sea

My passion for the sea and fishing began long ago as a child. My family would routinely vacation at Carolina Beach, NC where we would surf fish and go out on the head boats for offshore bottom fishing.

My desire to learn more about coastal fishing grew as I got older and at 13 years old we went spanish mackerel trolling for the first time on the crystal coast, I was immediately hooked. Since then I have routinely fished in and around Atlantic Beach from the "Hot Box", a 21 foot Sea Hunt center console. 

It has been a great experience learning the ways of the sea and the variety of fish which inhabit our nearshore waters.

My main goal is to pass that on to others as these trips are more than just for fishing, they are learning opportunities.
